About Axiom

Axiom launched in January 2014 as MVP’s offshoot brand, run out of the same building in Brown City, Michigan. The reason it exists is a branding problem: MVP’s identity depends on that black overmould rim, and Axiom was created so they could sell coloured overmoulds without breaking it.

The bags work the same way. Cell, Shuttle, Voyager Lite, Voyager Slim, Voyager, Voyager Pro — the same model architecture as MVP, the same hook-and-loop patch field, the same build, in brighter colourways. The Voyager Lite is 25% lighter than the previous Voyager generation and comes in ripstop and heather finishes.

So the honest advice: if you’ve handled an MVP bag and liked everything about it except how severe it looks, buy the Axiom version. It’s the same bag. That’s not a knock on either brand — it’s a rare case where you get to choose the aesthetic without giving anything up on construction.

Streamline Discs is the third brand in the same family, if you’re wondering why the bags look familiar over there too.
