ZÜCA didn’t come from disc golf. The company launched in 2004 building rolling bags with an external frame and a built-in seat — for students, skaters, makeup artists, anyone hauling gear. Disc golf found them: in 2013 Kris Mickelson spotted a ZÜCA Sport being used on a course, prototypes followed in 2014, and the dedicated Disc Golf Cart landed in 2015. They’ve been a DGPT partner since 2016, and Dynamic Discs distributes co-branded carts in North America.
The idea that makes them different is that the frame is the product. A wheeled exoskeleton with a seat rated to 300 lbs, and an insert bag that drops into it. Buy the frame once, swap the bag later.
The range runs from the Compact Cart (~15 discs) through Transit, Trekker and the Disc Golf Cart up to the Arsenal at 35+, with frame-only and backpack-cart options underneath.
Who’s a ZÜCA player? Someone whose body has opinions about carrying 25 discs, or who plays five-hour rounds and wants somewhere to sit at every tee. It’s not cheap and it’s not for technical wooded courses. On flat park layouts it’s a different day out.
