Climo Disc Golf is the brand of Ken Climo, the 12-time PDGA World Champion known simply as “The Champ.” It launched in January 2025 with three prototype molds and has grown mold by mold since, with every disc made in-house by Discraft at its Wixom, Michigan plant. Climo directs the plastic choices and the mold designs; Discraft handles the manufacturing, and the discs are sold through climodiscgolf.com rather than Discraft’s own channels.
The names all point back to Ken’s own story: the Champ for his nickname, the Streak for nine straight world titles from 1990 to 1998, the Belleair for the street he grew up on in Clearwater, Florida, the Cliff for his home course at Cliff Stephens Park, the Skyway for the Sunshine Skyway Bridge across Tampa Bay, and the Coast for the Gulf shoreline. Plastics come in four base lines: Trophy Line (the baseline blend), Major Line (premium and glossy), Victory Line (premium with a pearlescent finish) and Signature Line (a stiffer, marbled premium blend).
