The Discmania DD1 is a stable distance driver that stays manageable. One of turn against two of fade is close to neutral — it holds a long line and finishes gently rather than hard.
That makes it a distance driver that can be shaped. Eleven speed with five glide gives real carry, and it takes a hyzer flip cleanly instead of flipping past control. It holds a flat line at full power. Eleven speed is still eleven speed. Without the arm to get it up to speed, the DD1 never reaches the turn and fades out early, so it is not a first distance driver despite the neutral numbers.
