The Discraft Mantis is an understable driver that turns easily. Two of turn against two of fade means it wants to go right before it comes back.
That makes it a turnover and roller disc. Eight speed is slow enough for most arms to get the full flight, and four glide keeps the turn alive rather than dumping it. It flips to flat off a hyzer and holds a long right line. In wind the turn is a liability, and stronger arms will turn it over past recovery. This is a shot-shaping disc, not a driver to trust on a straight open hole.
How much the Mantis turns and fades depends on how hard it is thrown. These three shapes are drawn from the manufacturer’s numbers, not from measured throws.
