The Discmania Astronaut is a great distance driver for players who are developing arm speed and making the jump from beginner to intermediate. The high turn requires high speed to get the full flight out of the disc, giving moderate armed throwers a taste of that sweet turnover distance when thrown correctly.
How much the Astronaut turns and fades depends on how hard it is thrown. These three shapes are drawn from the manufacturer’s numbers, not from measured throws.
Measured by the PDGA when the Astronaut was certified. Each card names discs that share the number, so you can feel it in the hand.
