The Prodigy D3 is an understable distance driver at high speed. Two of turn against two of fade is a wide S — it turns out, then comes back.
That makes it a distance driver for players with the arm to use it. Thirteen speed is demanding, but the turn means it does not need to be thrown perfectly flat to work, and five glide stretches the flight. On a hyzer it flips up and rides. Below full power the turn never arrives and it fades out early. In a headwind the turn arrives too soon and the flight ends short and right.
How much the D3 turns and fades depends on how hard it is thrown. These three shapes are drawn from the manufacturer’s numbers, not from measured throws.
