Distortion: Prodigy’s overstable putt & approach

The Prodigy Distortion is a new approach disc from Kevin Jones new lineup (KJUSA) of discs in 2022. The Distortion is hot off the press and hasn’t been release as of this writing. What we know about the disc is that it has no turn and heady on fade. It appears the flight numbers are roughly 4 | 4 | 0 | 4 but we’ll update this post when an official announcement is made.

If you haven’t heard, Kevin Jones is the resident DJ on tour and audiophile; hence the new Reverb and Distortion discs in his new lineup! Check out KJ’s description of the two discs here on Instagram.

Flies like…

How much the Distortion turns and fades depends on how hard it is thrown. These three shapes are drawn from the manufacturer’s numbers, not from measured throws.

BeginnerUnder 300 ft drive
Intermediate300-400 ft drive
AdvancedOver 400 ft drive

What the numbers mean

Speed4How fast it has to be thrown
Glide4How long it stays in the air
