The Discraft Heat is an understable fairway driver built for turnovers. Three of turn against one of fade means it flips easily and finishes almost flat.
That makes it a distance disc for developing arms and a turnover disc for everyone else. Six glide is high, and combined with the deep turn it carries a long way at modest power. It flips to flat off a hyzer and holds a right-drifting line for the whole flight. The Heat is not a wind disc. Three turn with one fade will flip and run in a headwind, and there is nothing at the end to bring it home.
How much the Heat turns and fades depends on how hard it is thrown. These three shapes are drawn from the manufacturer’s numbers, not from measured throws.
