The Discraft Stratus carries four of turn, which is about as understable as a midrange gets. Four of turn against one of fade means it will not hold a flat line for anyone with an arm; it stands up and keeps going right.
That makes it a turnover and roller disc first. Thrown on a hyzer it flips to flat and then past it, which is the shot for a long right-hand bend around an obstacle, and it will lie down into a roller with very little help.
There is no straight shot in it and no headwind shot at all. One of fade cannot recover four of turn, so anything thrown hard and flat finishes on the ground well right of the aim.
How much the Stratus turns and fades depends on how hard it is thrown. These three shapes are drawn from the manufacturer’s numbers, not from measured throws.
