The Discmania Essence is a popular understable fairway driver. The Essence is a good utility driver that is excellent for all players, but also makes a great first fairway driver for beginners. The moderate speed and understability help extend throws before just a touch of fade. Stronger arms can get great flip out of this disc, making it ideal for hyzer flip shots. Overall, you can throw this disc with a ton of creativity, extra flippy for thomahawks and thumbers, turnover forehand, and sweeping anhyzers. Also available in the signature line of Nate Perkins, aka the Zen and Zen II.
