The Discraft Pulse is an overstable distance driver built to finish hard. Zero turn with four of fade means it will not flip and it is always coming back — no straight section, no drift.
That makes it a utility driver: headwind drives, forced hyzers, forehands that need to hold their angle, and long skip shots. Eleven speed with only four glide is a low, hard flight rather than a floating one, so it stays under the wind instead of riding it.
Distance is not what it is for. Four of fade and four of glide take it out of the air early, and thrown by an arm that cannot get it to 11 it becomes a very short flight that ends a long way left.
How much the Pulse turns and fades depends on how hard it is thrown. These three shapes are drawn from the manufacturer’s numbers, not from measured throws.
