The Discraft Drive is an 11-speed distance driver with a straight middle. One of turn against two of fade is a mild shape: enough turn to stand up and carry, enough fade to guarantee the ending.
That makes it a control distance driver. Eleven speed is reachable without a full sprint, and five glide is what converts the shape into distance rather than just a nice line. It takes a hyzer flip and holds it, and a flat release gives a long line that finishes left on its own.
It will not hold a long turnover line and it will not fight much wind. One of turn is not enough for a big anhyzer, and two of fade is not enough to trust into a headwind.
How much the Drive turns and fades depends on how hard it is thrown. These three shapes are drawn from the manufacturer’s numbers, not from measured throws.
