The Discraft Flash is an understable distance driver that flips easily. Two of turn against three of fade is a wide S — it turns hard, then comes back hard.
That makes it a hyzer-flip and distance disc for moderate power. Ten speed keeps it reachable, and five glide stretches the turn into real distance. Thrown on a hyzer it stands up, rides right, then the three fade brings it home. Thrown flat at full power it turns over and does not recover in time. In a headwind the turn arrives early and the flight ends short.
How much the Flash turns and fades depends on how hard it is thrown. These three shapes are drawn from the manufacturer’s numbers, not from measured throws.
