The Discraft Surge is a stable distance driver for mid-level power. One of turn with three of fade means it holds a line under speed, then finishes with authority.
That makes it a workhorse driver rather than a specialty one. Eleven speed and five glide give it real distance without demanding a professional arm, and it takes a hyzer flip cleanly. Thrown flat at full power it holds, then fades out predictably. The three fade is the trade. It will not hold an anhyzer to the ground, and players wanting a turnover driver will find the Surge fighting back.
