Putt & Approach

The putters in the archive, with flight numbers, stability and plastics — and a straight answer on whether you should be throwing one.

Is a putter right for you?

Putters are the slowest discs made and the most thrown. They are also the only category where the disc matters less than the repetition — which makes this the part of the bag most connected to the mental game rather than the equipment.
What it does

Flies slow and stops

Speed 1 to 4 with a deep, rounded rim and deliberately low glide. Designed to fly slowly, hold the line you give it and stop rather than skip — on the green and on approach shots inside 200 feet.
What it asks of you

Repetition and composure

Physically, almost nothing. Mentally, everything. Putting is the most repeated and highest-pressure shot in a round, and the difference between players is rarely the mold — it is routine, focus and recovery after a miss.
The common mistake

Changing putters

Chasing a better mold after a bad round. Consistency comes from throwing the same putter thousands of times, not from finding a different one. A new putter resets the count.
Buy it this way
Several of the same putter, not several different putters. The repetition is the point — and a matched set lets you practise putting without breaking the feel you are building.
