The Discraft Magnet is an approach putter that always finishes left. Zero turn with two of fade means it will not flip on a firm throw and it will not drift — the shape is the same every time.
That makes it an approach disc more than a putting disc for most bags: headwind throws, forced hyzers, short forehands that have to stop. Its rim is 0.8 cm, thinner than almost any other putter on this site, so it sits deep in the hand and releases clean. PDGA-approved in 1993, it is also one of the oldest moulds listed here.
Two of fade at 2 speed leaves no straight line and no distance. Either aim left of the target or accept the miss.
How much the Magnet turns and fades depends on how hard it is thrown. These three shapes are drawn from the manufacturer’s numbers, not from measured throws.
