The Discraft APX is a putter with a touch of turn in it. One of turn against one of fade is a balanced, straight flight — it goes at the target rather than around it.
That makes it a straight-line putting and approach disc, the shot for going at chains instead of laying up. At 2.3 cm tall on a 0.9 cm rim it is one of the deepest, thinnest-rimmed discs on this site, a grip built for control at short range rather than for driving.
The turn is the trade. Into a headwind it will flip and keep going, and one of fade is not enough to bring anything back.
How much the APX turns and fades depends on how hard it is thrown. These three shapes are drawn from the manufacturer’s numbers, not from measured throws.
