Pro D: Discraft’s baseline putter blend plastic

“Best Grip, Best Value”

Discraft — team.discraft.com/plastics

Pro D is Discraft’s classic baseline putter plastic: opaque, tacky, cheap, and the blend the Discraft putters were sold in for decades. Discraft has retired the name, and the same material now ships under the plain D-Line label from some retailers.

Baseline putter blend is bought for grip and a dead landing. Pro D does both, and Soft D is a softer firmness run of it. Twenty-one moulds are listed.

It wears. Pro D drivers change flight fast, and that’s what it’s for. Jawbreaker is the tougher Discraft putter blend if you want the same feel to last.
