Softy: Clash Discs’s baseline putter blend plastic

“a putter plastic that provides maximum grip and flexibility”

Clash Discs — clashdiscs.com/plastics

Softy is the flexible half of Clash’s putter pair. Maximum grip, plenty of give, the blend you choose when you want a putter that dies on the chains.

Soft putter plastic is the class that goes gummy in heat and firms up in the cold, so its feel changes with the weather more than any other plastic in the bag. Grip is the reason to buy it, wet or dry.

Don’t expect a long life at driver speeds. This is a putt-and-approach plastic, and it wears the way baseline blends do.
