500: Prodigy’s premium opaque grip plastic

“Stiffer, less gummy feel than 400 Plastic with a uniquely pearlescent finish”

Prodigy — prodigydisc.com/plastics

500 is Prodigy’s stiffer premium plastic: opaque, less gummy than 400, with a pearlescent finish. Twelve moulds are listed in it.

That makes it the Prodigy blend for players who find 400 too soft on a full-power drive. It’s still in the grippy opaque class, just the firm end of it.

It’s less tacky than 400 when wet, and it gets hard in the cold. 400 is the plastic for hand.
