The Discraft GRIPeq G2 is the second-generation G-Series shoulder bag, the Discraft edition finished in black with red brushstroke graphics and red zipper pulls. Same 8-to-12 disc class as the original G-Series, at 14" tall by 12" wide by 8" deep.
The layout carries over from the first bag: a two-disc Quick Pull zippered top pocket, the TUCK-IT main compartment cover, a dual-use side storage and bottle pocket, a large rear storage pocket with a key leash, a padded hip zippered phone pocket, a magnetic scorecard keeper and twin pencil sleeves. What the G2 adds is a velcro loop field on the front for morale patches and pins, and an extended strap with an extra 8" of length so the bag can be worn cross-body. Carry is still a double-wide single shoulder strap with no-slip grip padding.
Construction is double-layer 1000D/420D nylon on the black and coal versions, with YKK zippers and DURAFLEX Woojin hardware. Retailers list the Discraft edition at about 4.5 lb.
GRIPeq also sells the plain G2 in sand, ocean, rust, moss, coal and smoke; only the black-and-red version carries the Discraft graphics. The G2 was succeeded in 2026 by the backpack-style MB-G3, though it remains on sale. View more at grip-eq.com.
