About the Discraft GRIPeq MB-G3

What it carries

The Discraft GRIPeq MB-G3 is the third G-Series bag and the first to be a backpack. It is part of the MB Line, the GRIPeq, Discraft and Paul McBeth collaboration, and it changes the format: two adjustable shoulder straps and a vented lumbar pad in place of the single sling strap the G-Series and G2 used. Capacity moves up to 10 to 13 discs, at 16" tall by 13.5" wide by 9.5" deep and 3.95 lb.

GRIPeq lists a wide three-putter top pocket with dual zippers, a single-disc front pocket, a zippered valuables pocket inside the lumbar pad, two large dual-use side pockets that take a bottle up to 32 oz or spare discs, dedicated phone pockets, one-finger zipper pulls in two included colours and a large velcro morale patch field. Construction is 840D nylon with YKK zippers, anodised aluminium WeTool hardware and Woojin nylon hardware.

GRIPeq positions it as a compact bag for juniors, beginners, or anyone who wants a light carry that fits airline travel and road trips. It is the smallest bag in the MB Line, under the 23-disc MB-PX1 backpack and the 28-disc MB-TSD1 travel duffel.

Two colourways at launch, Black/Orange and Black/Purple. Each ships with a Paul McBeth flex mini marker, three custom velcro patches, spare zipper pulls and a limited-edition Discraft disc, a purple Jawbreaker Z FLX Luna with the purple bag and an orange edition with the orange bag.
