Innova’s Thunderbird makes a great easy throwing distance driver. It’s a stable disc that has decent fade making it a predictable disc drives. “Like a Teebird, but faster.” It’s only available in Star, GStar, StarLite, Metal Flake, DX, Pro, and Champion plastic.
How much the Thunderbird turns and fades depends on how hard it is thrown. These three shapes are drawn from the manufacturer’s numbers, not from measured throws.
Measured by the PDGA when the Thunderbird was certified. Each card names discs that share the number, so you can feel it in the hand.
