The Legacy Discs Phenom sits in the most useful part of the fairway range — 8 speed, one of turn, two of fade.
Those numbers describe a disc that flies straight for most of its flight and finishes moderately, which is what most people actually want from a fairway driver. The single point of turn keeps it workable without making it unreliable, and five glide gets real distance without a big arm. It takes a hyzer-flip, it holds an anhyzer, and it does not need perfect form to behave.
How much the Phenom turns and fades depends on how hard it is thrown. These three shapes are drawn from the manufacturer’s numbers, not from measured throws.
Measured by the PDGA when the Phenom was certified. Each card names discs that share the number, so you can feel it in the hand.
