Alpha is Lone Star’s firm baseline: slick, stiff, opaque, and the cheapest way into a Lone Star mould. Thirty-nine moulds are listed in it.
Baseline is for beat-in. Alpha moulds move over a season, and the firmness suits players who want a stiff putter feel at a baseline price.
It isn’t grippy, and it won’t hold flight. Bravo is the gummy baseline, Delta and Victor are the premium blends.
