About the Emperor

Emperor: Infinite’s stable distance driver

The Infinite Discs Emperor is a 12-speed distance driver rated 12/5/-1/3. One point of turn with a three of fade puts it in the workhorse slot — it pushes forward with a little high-speed movement, then finishes firmly without dumping. Five glide is standard for the class.

It is moulded by Innova and lives in Destroyer territory, with a softer fade and slightly more workable turn. That makes it the stable bomber for players who find the Destroyer a shade too much, and a reliable flex-line disc for those who don’t. Different plastics move the numbers: I-Blend glides and flips more, C-Blend and Halo S-Blend hold closer to 12/5/0/3. What it will not do is fly its number for a slower arm — below distance-driver power it is a short, stable hyzer and not much else.

Flies like…

How much the Emperor turns and fades depends on how hard it is thrown. These three shapes are drawn from the manufacturer’s numbers, not from measured throws.
