The MVP Tangent is a straight midrange with almost nothing at either end — half a point of turn against half a point of fade. That is as neutral as the numbers on this site get.
That makes it a line-holder: it goes where it is pointed and finishes close to flat, which is what you want for tunnel shots, flat approaches and anything where a fade would cost you the putt. At 2.1 cm tall it is a deep midrange, so it fills the hand more like a putter than a driver.
Neutral cuts both ways. There is no fade to rescue a bad angle and no turn to shape a line, so whatever release angle it leaves on, it keeps.
How much the Tangent turns and fades depends on how hard it is thrown. These three shapes are drawn from the manufacturer’s numbers, not from measured throws.
Measured by the PDGA when the Tangent was certified. Each card names discs that share the number, so you can feel it in the hand.
