The Discraft Cicada is a straight flying fairway driver. With just a touch of turn (-1) the Cicada makes for a great long flying point and shoot disc that will get to your spot (if you hit your line). Great for big sweeping anhyzers, with just a little fight at the end of flight. Also great long straight fairway shots with just a very mild fade at the finish. The Cicada is bound to make it into a lot of bags in 2024 and beyond.
Discraft throwers who like the Zombee will like the extra speed and glide. It’s also very similar to the Passion just a touch slower, so if you like the flight of the passion, but want more of an exclamation point on the flight, try the Cicada.
How much the Cicada turns and fades depends on how hard it is thrown. These three shapes are drawn from the manufacturer’s numbers, not from measured throws.
