The Infinite Discs Scarab is a stable, beaded putter rated 2/4/0/1, built for longer putts and approaches.
Two speed with four glide is a putter that floats: it holds its line on long putts and finishes with a small fade. Reviewer averages from 46 reviews read 2/4/-0.1/1, confirming the rating. It needs no arm speed to fly as rated, so it works at every level, and the extra glide helps players who push-putt rather than spin the disc.
Infinite says it has “a similar rim configuration to the Infinite Discs Myth, but with a different flight plate that provides a longer glide,” and its run history describes that plate as rounded, “akin to an Aviar.” Against the Innova Aviar‘s 2/3/0/1 it carries a point more glide on paper. For a deep, beadless alternative from the same line there’s the Alpaca. The glide that helps on long putts works against it in wind, where a lower-glide putter holds its line better.
Infinite places it with its Egyptian molds without further explanation. A scarab is the dung beetle held sacred in ancient Egypt and widely carved into amulets and seals.
Infinite’s run history says the Scarab was designed at the request of pro Joel Freeman, and its first run was X-Blend. PDGA approved in April 2019. It’s listed in D-Blend, I-Blend and X-Blend — a shorter plastic list than most Infinite putters.
