Low glide and one fade make it a disc that goes straight and stops: it doesn’t float past the basket, and it finishes predictably. Reviewer averages from 122 reviews read 2.9/3.1/0/1.1, matching the rating. Arm speed barely matters on a putter, and at 3 speed it also throws cleanly on short approaches; stronger players can drive with it on tight holes, where it holds a line without flipping.
Infinite calls it “the quintessential beadless putter” with “a deep, comfortable, traditional, and familiar feel,” and says it is “the putting putter of choice for nearly all of Infinite’s sponsored pros.” Infinite describes it as similar to its Myth without a bead, and Gotta Go Gotta Throw contrasts its deep rim with the lower-profile Cohort. Infinite explains the name: the Alpaca is grouped with the Maya, Inca and Aztec molds “as each of these cultures relied heavily on these amazing creatures for food and clothing materials.”
