The MVP Cypher is an understable fairway driver, and it’s the kind of disc that makes a 7-speed feel a lot easier than 7-speeds usually do. Three of turn and a single fade means it wants to flip up and ride, not fight you off the tee.
If you throw a Cypher on a slight hyzer it’ll stand up and hold a long, flat line. Give it anhyzer and it’ll turn over and stay turned. That makes it a solid gap disc in the woods and an easy way to get fairway distance without needing a ton of arm speed. If you’re coming up from a midrange and your fairway drivers keep fading out early, this is the one to try. Just know that in a headwind, three of turn is three of turn — it’ll flip past where you want it.
