The MVP Ion is a popular, slightly overstable, Putt & Approach disc. It was the first disc made by MVP. With a focus on control and consistency, the Ion features a comfortable, beadless rim that feels great in the hand and allows for a smooth release. It boasts a neutral flight with a dependable fade, making it suitable for both straight putts and gentle hyzer approaches. The Ion’s flight characteristics and outstanding glide enable players to navigate the fairways and nail those critical putts with confidence.
How much the Ion turns and fades depends on how hard it is thrown. These three shapes are drawn from the manufacturer’s numbers, not from measured throws.
Measured by the PDGA when the Ion was certified. Each card names discs that share the number, so you can feel it in the hand.
