The Yikun Luan is a 14-speed distance driver with three of fade. That combination asks for a lot of arm speed and gives back a dependable, hard finish.
One point of turn means it is not a pure meat-hook — with enough power there is a straight section in the middle before it comes back. Without that power you get the fade and not much else. Five glide keeps it in the air long enough to use the whole flight. This is a headwind and hyzer disc for a strong arm. If 14 speed is above your throw, what you get will be a fraction of what the numbers describe.
How much the Luan turns and fades depends on how hard it is thrown. These three shapes are drawn from the manufacturer’s numbers, not from measured throws.
Measured by the PDGA when the Luan was certified. Each card names discs that share the number, so you can feel it in the hand.
