About the World

World: Westside Discs’s stable distance driver

The Westside Discs World is a 14-speed with only half a point of turn and three of fade — a big driver that stays firmly on the stable side.

Four glide is low for the class, which keeps it from ballooning and makes it steadier in wind. Thrown with real power it straightens briefly before the fade takes over; thrown without, it is a long hyzer. This is a distance driver for placement and for wind rather than for maximum range — the low glide costs it distance against a floatier 14-speed and buys predictability in return.

Flies like…

How much the World turns and fades depends on how hard it is thrown. These three shapes are drawn from the manufacturer’s numbers, not from measured throws.
