About the Queen

Queen: Westside Discs’s understable distance driver

The Westside Discs Queen is a 14-speed with three of turn — an unusual combination, maximum speed with a distinctly understable profile.

For a strong arm that means a long turnover flight or a roller. For a moderate arm it means a 14-speed that will actually turn over instead of fading out, which is the whole reason understable distance drivers exist. Two of fade gives it enough finish to come back at the end rather than burning out completely. Do not expect it to hold up in a headwind — three of turn at 14 speed will flip and stay flipped.

Flies like…

How much the Queen turns and fades depends on how hard it is thrown. These three shapes are drawn from the manufacturer’s numbers, not from measured throws.
