About the Xenon

Xenon: Løft’s overstable fairway driver

The Løft Xenon is an overstable 9-speed fairway driver rated 9/3/0/4. Three glide is the number to notice — it is a point under most fairway drivers, so the Xenon does not hang in the air. Zero turn and four fade mean it never stands up and always finishes left, and finishes hard.

That makes it a headwind driver, a forehand driver, and the disc for a flex line you need to come back. It handles torque without complaint. Next to the Titanium (7/5/-2/1) it is the opposite end of Løft’s fairway shelf — where the Titanium turns and floats, the Xenon holds and drops. Løft name every mould after an element and box each stamp like a periodic-table cell; xenon is the heavy, inert one. What it won’t do is go straight: with four fade there is no flat line in it at any power, and slower arms will see it dump early and short.

Flies like…

How much the Xenon turns and fades depends on how hard it is thrown. These three shapes are drawn from the manufacturer’s numbers, not from measured throws.
