The Innova Mako is one of the few discs on this site with nothing at either end — zero turn and zero fade. Four speed with five glide means it floats out on the line you gave it and stays there, no bend in, no bend out. Whatever angle you release, it keeps.
That makes it a tunnel disc and a flat straight approach, and it is why so many players learn a midrange on one. You don’t need power to see the whole flight. What it won’t do is come back — with no fade there is nothing to bring an errant angle home, so an anhyzer stays right and a hyzer keeps going left. It also gives up in wind, where five glide and no stability lift and drift. If you want the same straight line with a finish, that is the Roc3.
How much the Mako turns and fades depends on how hard it is thrown. These three shapes are drawn from the manufacturer’s numbers, not from measured throws.
