About the Atlas

Atlas: Innova’s stable mid-range driver

The Innova Atlas is a straight midrange with a soft finish. Zero turn against one of fade means it holds the line it is given and leans left only slightly at the end — no flip, no hook.

It is also oversized. At 21.8 cm across and a 180.9 g maximum, it is one of the widest discs on this site, which is where the glide and the easy release come from.

That makes it a straight-line mid for touch shots and controlled approaches, and the size makes it forgiving to grip and to throw flat. What it will not do is shape a line for you. There is no turn to work with and only one of fade to bring it home, so a headwind or a hard throw both leave it going wherever it was aimed.

Flies like…

How much the Atlas turns and fades depends on how hard it is thrown. These three shapes are drawn from the manufacturer’s numbers, not from measured throws.
