The Discmania MD is a neutral midrange rated 4/5/0/0, with nothing at either end of the flight. Four speed and five glide means it carries a long way for a mid without ever leaning — it holds the angle you gave it from release to ground.
That makes it a tunnel disc and a placement mid, and a useful one for learning what a flat release actually looks like, since the disc adds nothing of its own. You don’t need power to see the full flight. What it won’t do is finish. With no fade there is nothing to bring a bad angle back, so an anhyzer stays right the whole way down. It also lifts in wind. For a Discmania mid that fades, the MD3 or MD5 are the ones.
How much the MD turns and fades depends on how hard it is thrown. These three shapes are drawn from the manufacturer’s numbers, not from measured throws.
