About the Järn

Järn: Kastaplast’s overstable putt & approach

The Kastaplast Järn is a reliable overstable approach disc designed for control, precision, and confidence in any condition. With a flat top and a low-profile build, the Järn delivers a fast, torque-resistant flight with a strong, predictable fade—ideal for both forehand and backhand approaches. Whether you’re battling headwinds or need a disc that sticks the landing near the basket, the Järn performs with dependable consistency.

Approved by the PDGA on December 13, 2021, the Järn features a diameter of 21.3cm, a rim depth of 1.4cm, and a rim thickness of 1.3cm, offering a clean, confident grip. Its overstable nature makes it perfect for touchy forehand flicks, spike hyzers, or precision hyzer approaches where ground play needs to be minimized.

The Järn combines premium plastic with elite-level performance. It’s a go-to disc for players who value control over distance and want a utility approach disc that can handle power without turning over.
