The MVP Octane is a 13-speed distance driver with a mild shape. One of turn against two of fade means it stands up under power and then finishes, rather than holding a hard line the whole way.
That makes it a distance driver for an arm that is already there, and the rim is the reason: 2.4 cm, about as wide as disc golf rims get. That width is where the speed comes from and also what makes it demanding to release cleanly.
Below 13 speed none of it happens. Without the power to get it up to speed, the turn never appears and the Octane fades out early and short — a worse flight than a slower driver would give you.
How much the Octane turns and fades depends on how hard it is thrown. These three shapes are drawn from the manufacturer’s numbers, not from measured throws.
