The Viking Discs Nordic Warrior is a stable midrange built to hold an angle under power. Zero turn with two fade at 4 speed means it will not flip and it will not drift — it holds the line you give it and leans left at the end.
Four glide gives it noticeably more carry than the Axe while keeping the same predictable finish. Viking’s own framing is that you can put real power behind it and it still comes back, and that it is meant for big hyzer angles and windy conditions. Infinite reviewer averages of 4 / 4.1 / -0.1 / 2 match the rating. Lower arm speeds see the same shape on a smaller scale — 4 speed does not demand much to reach the whole flight.
That makes it an everyday midrange and a hyzer disc: shots that need to hold their angle across a gap, forehand approaches, anything into a headwind where a neutral mid would turn. There is no turnover in it. If you want a mid that stands up on an anhyzer and rides, this is the wrong one.
Viking Discs is a Finnish manufacturer and names its molds for Norse figures and imagery, without publishing individual explanations. PDGA approved in January 2017. Alongside Ground, Storm and Armor it is one of the few molds offered in Warpaint, which Viking describes as Storm plastic with multicolour graphics, and retailers also list it in Fire, a run with an integrated LED in the flight plate.
