SureGrip is Gateway’s baseline putter plastic, and the line behind the firmness grades Gateway is known for. Firm, SS, SSS, and SSSS are all SureGrip at different flex pressures, from stiff to very soft, and Lunar and Organic Hemp are runs of it.
That’s the range to pick a putter feel from. SS is the everyday one, SSSS is for players who want the disc to collapse on the chains, Firm is for a consistent release. Nine moulds are listed across the line.
Softer grades go gummy in heat and wear faster. None of them are built for driver speeds.
