About the Ghoul

Ghoul: Gateway’s overstable putt & approach

The Gateway Ghoul is a stable-to-overstable approach disc crafted with input from Gateway-sponsored pro Chandler Kramer. Designed for precision and dependability, the Ghoul features flight numbers 3 | 3 | 0 | 3, making it a trusted tool for forehand and backhand upshots that demand control and a consistent fade.

Approved by the PDGA on February 24, 2025, the Ghoul has a low-profile design with a distinct thumb-track top and smooth rounded wing, offering excellent grip and torque resistance. Its comfortable 1.2 cm rim depth and 1.0 cm rim thickness suit a wide range of throwing styles, particularly excelling in forehand approaches.

Whether you’re navigating tight approaches or managing headwinds, the Ghoul’s reliable stability and clean release make it a go-to disc. Thanks to Chandler Kramer’s influence and Gateway’s thoughtful design, the Ghoul is built to inspire confidence on every upshot.

How much the Ghoul turns and fades depends on how hard it is thrown. These three shapes are drawn from the manufacturer’s numbers, not from measured throws.
