The Innova AviarX3 is the most overstable Aviar, and it pays for that in glide. Two glide with three fade means it won’t float and it won’t drift — it goes where you throw it and finishes left.
That makes it an approach disc, not a putting putter. It’s for headwind upshots, forehand approaches, and the shot that has to stop where it lands. The rim is deep for how flat the disc sits: 1.6 cm of rim in a disc 1.8 cm tall. It locks into a power grip and shrugs off torque. You don’t need arm speed to see the fade — it’s there at any pace.
What it won’t do is putt. Two glide isn’t enough to carry a soft putt to the chains, and three fade pulls it off line inside the circle. There’s no turnover in it either — zero turn against three fade, and the AviarX3 goes one direction.
How much the AviarX3 turns and fades depends on how hard it is thrown. These three shapes are drawn from the manufacturer’s numbers, not from measured throws.
