The Discraft XS is an overstable driver that fights back. Zero turn with three of fade means it does not flip at any power — the flight bends left and keeps bending.
That makes it a utility disc: headwind drives, forced hyzers, forehand approaches that need to hold their angle, and skip shots off the ground. Eight speed is low enough that most arms can throw it hard without it running away, which is what makes the overstability usable rather than punishing.
There is no straight line in it and no turnover. Three of fade against zero turn means the disc goes left, and thrown soft it simply goes left sooner and lands shorter.
How much the XS turns and fades depends on how hard it is thrown. These three shapes are drawn from the manufacturer’s numbers, not from measured throws.
