The Innova Sync is a 3-speed, beadless putt and approach disc rated 3/3/0/1. Zero turn and a single point of fade make it a point-and-shoot disc: what you release is what you get, with just enough finish to keep it from sailing past. Glide of 3 is deliberately modest, so it gets to the basket rather than floating over it.
The rim is shallow (1.3 cm deep, 1.0 cm wide on the PDGA sheet), which puts it closer to the Aviar3 than the Classic Aviar in the hand. Between the two, the Sync is the straighter one for longer. It is not a wind putter and it will not hold an anhyzer forever — a hard turnover eventually flattens and drifts. Star holds the numbers; DX seasons into a slight turn inside 100 feet.
How much the Sync turns and fades depends on how hard it is thrown. These three shapes are drawn from the manufacturer’s numbers, not from measured throws.
