The Discraft Cyclone is a stable fairway driver from the early days of the sport. One of turn with two of fade is a gentle S — it drifts right, then comes back without much drama.
That makes it a control driver for touch shots rather than a distance disc. Seven speed puts it within reach of most arms, and four glide keeps it honest instead of floaty. It takes a hyzer flip well and holds an anhyzer line without wanting to bury. The limit is power. Thrown hard it will turn over further than the single point of turn suggests, and there is not enough fade to bring it all the way home.
How much the Cyclone turns and fades depends on how hard it is thrown. These three shapes are drawn from the manufacturer’s numbers, not from measured throws.
