The AGL Douglas Fir is an understable approach putter and AGL’s answer to the deep-dish putter problem. It is thin and fast rather than tall and grippy, beadless, and built for players who want to throw a putter rather than putt with it. Two points of turn keep it straight for slower arms and flippy for faster ones, and it will lay down and roll on demand.
Numbers on this one vary by retailer — 4/3/-2/1 is the most widely printed, but 3/2/-2/0 is quoted too. It is offered in Alpine, Woodland and Woodland Hemp, the hemp being an additive to the base plastic rather than a line of its own, which AGL adds for durability and grip.
